MedScanner (medscanner.in) is a medicine price comparison service operated by an individual based in Bengaluru, India. We help you compare medicine prices across Indian online pharmacies. We do not sell medicines.

Information you provide
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic you selected, and the message you wrote. This information is sent directly to our email inbox and is not stored on any server.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use MedScanner. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time spent on the site, device type, browser, and approximate location (country/city level). This data is collected via cookies and is processed by Google.
3. Cookies
We use cookies solely through Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics. We do not use cookies for advertising, tracking across other sites, or storing personal information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to messages sent via the contact form
- To understand how visitors use the site and improve it

5. Third-Party Links
MedScanner links to external pharmacy websites (PharmEasy, Truemeds, Medkart, 1mg, MedPlus Mart, Apollo Pharmacy). Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites.
6. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your query. Google Analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention policy (26 months by default).
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have provided to us. To make such a request, email us at [email protected].

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of MedScanner after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
