“A few months ago, my parents had their annual health checkup in Bangalore. My father is diabetic and has hypertension; my mother is diabetic too. The doctor prescribed new medicines — but they had a flight home that same evening, so I decided to order everything online.

I ended up spending nearly 2–3 hours comparing 11 medicines across pharmacies. In the end, I ordered 8 from one platform and 3 from another — and saved ₹1,800 on a ₹10,500 order. Nearly 17%. The price difference for some medicines was as high as 40%.

I shared the trick with friends. But most of them couldn't justify 20–40 minutes of work for ₹200–300 in monthly savings. Honestly, I get it — I wouldn't either. So I built MedScanner. First to simplify it for myself, then to make it available for everyone.”
